- AMTAC states its suppressors are full-auto rated.
- The AMTAC uniBaffle design continues to add velocity while the bullet travels through the suppressor, which AMTAC calls suppressor push and says leads to a higher muzzle velocity and flatter trajectory for long-range shooting. As the bullet passes through the uniBaffle, the air around it loses pressure gradually instead of all at once, which AMTAC says reduces the standard deviation of muzzle velocity by up to 20% and results in tighter groups and a smaller vertical spread on long-range targets.

- The KOA S is the Sporting over-barrel model of the KOA series, which AMTAC says lets you find the ideal balance between length, weight, and sound performance.
- Over-barrel suppressors have to fit over the rifle barrel and thread securely into place without touching the gas system on semi-auto rifles, so barrel length, barrel diameter and gas system all matter. AMTAC lists the working barrel / gas system combinations for all over-barrel models as 20" barrel with rifle-length gas system, 16" with mid-length, 14" with carbine-length, and 10.5" with pistol-length.
- KOA S: 0.750" barrel diameter and 4" from muzzle brake to gas block.
- AMTAC: at this time, we do not recommend using our 556 suppressors on .22 rimfire rifles.
